Light a Candle
Henry Cousins, age 53 of St. Peter, passed away peacefully at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital, surrounded by his wife and step-sons.
Harry was born on June 5, 1967 in Edinburgh, Scotland to Henry William James and Charlotte Mcrae (Lamb) Cousins. Harry moved from Scotland to Texas to live with his sister and brother-in-law. He graduated from Robert E. Lee in Tyler, Texas. He moved from Tyler to Leesville, LA where he met and married Barbara on November 12, 1991. Eventually they made their home in St. Peter, MN.
He loved grilling, was an avid fan to the Dallas Cowboys, loved playing pranks, watching football and racing on television. He loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. Harry loved people and could make a conversation with anyone. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren and will now be greatly missed.
Harry is survived by his wife, Barbara of 29 years, step-son Michael (Gini) Hendrix of Lake Crystal, son Stephen (Heather) Allen of St. Peter, brother-in-law Harold Hendrix of Mankato, sister Anne Weekley of Texas, niece Katie Weekley and nephew Lowell Weekley of Texas, seven beautiful grandchildren and many cousins.
Harry was preceded in death by his father Henry, his step-son Dustin Allen, his sister-in-law Margaret Allen, his brother-in-laws Lowell Weekley, Carl and Larry Hendrix and his (uncle) Jimmy.
A celebration of his life will be held for his family and friends at a later date.
